This lampshade is woven by artisan families from Michoacán who work with fibers such as tule and chuspata, aquatic plants obtained from the region's lakes. The tule is harvested, sun-dried, and moistened before weaving to regain flexibility. Each piece is carefully handcrafted on a metal frame, reflecting a craft passed down from generation to generation.
